Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

We had a great time getting ready for Christmas in Junior Infants. We practiced a lot for our play, we played in Santa's workshop during Aistear, did some lovely art and we even had a hot chocolate party! It was great. We are looking forward to our Christmas holidays after all our hard work but we will still be excited to come back to school in the New Year! 

We love Autumn
Junior infants have loved learning all about Autumn this month. We have gone on Autumn hunts in the garden and found lots of leaves and conkers. We made spooky pumpkins and some hedgehogs and even made a magic witches potion! In the middle of learning all about Autumn we enjoyed Maths week. There was some very intense games of connect 4 had in the classroom!

Welcome to Junior Infants!
A big welcome to all the boys and girls who started with us in September. You have only been in school one month and you have done so much already. Junior infants have enjoyed a fun day and a teddy bears picnic and they have been working really hard on their sorting and writing skills in the classroom.
